Superb Condition Made in New York, NY

1955 New York, NY Made Guild X-50 Archtop In great condition for its age, has very few scratches and they are all very small, checking is present but also extremely small and minimal. I’ve tried to give as many detail pictures as I could. Frets are in good shape as is fretboard and the neck, action is low and very playable with plenty of room to adjust the bridge either way. Guitar is made with a 3 piece neck (mahogany, rock maple, mahogany) that is extremely stable and has a truss rod and rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Body is three piece maple laminate. Waverly tuners and tailpiece. Daka-ware knobs. All parts are original with the exception of the upper strap button. This guitar is extremely rare due to it being in such great condition and being one of the few that were made before Guild moved its headquarters to Hoboken, NJ and later Rhode Island. This guitar is extremely well built and should last you a lifetime as its looks and plays like its almost new, but with a slightly vintage finish and design. Guitar comes with a TKL hardshell case and will be shipped anywhere in the Continental US fully insured.
